In 1950, almost 76 years ago, Claude Shannon demonstrated probably world’s first machine that could learn. It consisted of robotic electronic mouse with wire whisker, wooden and had bar magnet. It explored and learned maze.

- Electronic robotic maze solving mouse
- First ever instance of machine learning how mouse learns to solve the maze via trial and error.
- It was able to “remember” its path with the help of telephone relay switches
